What steps are required to settle a fine imposed by Companies House for late submission of annual accounts – and how high can these fines be?

Typically, the simplest method for you will be a bank transfer. Please ensure that all transfer fees are covered on your end, as otherwise, the full amount may not reach Companies House. For the reference, you should specify: Penalty + the reference number on the penalty notice + your Companies House number + your LTD name. It is advisable to keep the transfer receipt in case the payment cannot be assigned there.
